Starting from Spoleto we will travel along the so-called “alpine section” of the Old Railway, characterised by viaducts with wonderful views and tunnels dug into the rock. We will skirt a flat stretch of the Nera river, passing through Castel S. Felice, the Abbey of Saints Mauro and Felice, Vallo di Nera (one of the most beautiful villages in Italy), Piedipaterno and Borgo Cerreto. Here you will take a refreshment break, and then return to Spoleto, along the same road or pedalling towards Piedipaterno and Forca di Cerro.

Possibility of shortening the route for families with children.
